Karen Mercer is the SVP and Treasurer at AARP. Karen Mercer leads AARP’s treasury, investments, insurance, and corporate finance functions. She ensures that the resources of AARP are managed and invested to carry out the mission of AARP to enhance the quality of life for all as we age. She is known for leading people and initiatives which produce successful results. She is a CPA and has a MBA and BBA in finance from Texas Christian University.
