How to Share Your Financial Knowledge & Help Others

NAPFA’s Consumer Education Foundation (NCEF) will offer a conference session to guide advisors with the tools necessary to provide pro bono financial advice. Many NAPFA members would like to give back to members of their community, but do not have the relevant experience to address issues typically encountered under financially constrained situations. This program will be led by a panel of experts who have participated in pro bono programs and will include how to address topics such as credit card debt and budgeting. NAPFA members will also learn about various ways to share their skills including programs such as Money Smart Week. Attendees will also leave with a toolkit that provides resources for the advisor and client.
