CFP Board Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct
CFP Board has issued a revised Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct, which will become effective on October 1, 2019. What are the requirements set forth in the revised Code and Standards, what has changed from the existing version, and what are CFP Board’s plans for educating CFP® professionals on the new requirements? Leo Rydzewski, CFP Board’s General Counsel, will answer these questions and discuss the role of the Standards Resource Commission, which CFP Board has formed for the purpose of developing guidance materials that address the requirements set forth in the revised Code and Standards.
