Wealth Management Internship

About this position:

Compass Wealth Management is a growing, fee-only RIA firm located in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA. We serve corporate executives, business owners, and retirees through the implementation of a comprehensive financial planning process, in addition to a highly disciplined asset management approach.

We are looking for a Wealth Management Intern for Summer 2025, responsible for supporting our team and firm goals. This position is a great fit for a college Junior or Senior who is interested in a career in the financial services industry. This candidate will enjoy working within a small team while gaining exposure to the different roles at our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Support and fulfill tasks assigned by our advisors, planners, and client service personnel.
• Conduct product, market, and client research.
• Assist with data-entry for financial plans.
• Assist with account maintenance and client service tasks.
• Scan & organize documents and maintain electronic files.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work on-site at our office on Mondays and Wednesdays for internship duration.
• College Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in financial planning or a related field.
• Trustworthy, ethical, hard-working, and dependable.
• Self-disciplined and able to work independently in a small team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Excited to take on new challenges and adaptable to change.
• Strong interest in the financial services industry.
