Financial Planning "Returnship" - An internship for someone re-entering the workforce
Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC is currently hiring a full-time previous professional in any field interested in shadowing our advisors and learning about what it takes to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. The ideal candidate will be ready to return to the workforce after a two or more year break from professional life to raise children, take care of a loved one, etc. This position is entry level and will start with a six-week internship or “returnship” in our Orlando office with a possible offer of a permanent position upon conclusion.
Launched in the spring of 2017, the Financial Planner Re-Entry Initiative (FPRI) is an innovative program of the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning conducted in partnership with nationally recognized career re-entry consultant iRelaunch. The FPRI supports financial services firms in establishing re-entry programs for experienced professionals seeking to return to the workforce in financial planning positions.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist financial planning department in various tasks and projects
- Shadow daily activities of the financial planning department
- Enter and update data for client relationship management software from various sources
- Help prepare for and participate in select client meetings
Timeline:
Schedule: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Date range TBD
Six weeks in Melbourne and Orlando offices
Eligibility Requirements:
- Re-entering the workforce after a break of one or more years
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance)
- CFP® certificant or committed to becoming a CFP® professional
