Planning Specialties
I have a BS and MS in Accounting with a specialization in tax. My CPA career began in the tax arena at KPMG but I quickly found my passion in financial planning. Before leaving KPMG, I obtained my CFP license. I then moved to a tax boutique law firm and delved deeper into estate planning engagements. From there, I started and have run a successful tax practice focusing on high wealth individuals, retirees, small business owners, estates, and trusts for over 20 years. I bring a tax centric lens to each client’s unique planning situation to minimize their tax burden thereby increasing wealth. I especially enjoy working through retirement planning scenarios as they are really tax focused issues.
I enjoy helping clients from a holistic perspective to find financial security. Our financial lives have many moving parts – retirement, cash flow, income tax, investment and estate planning. Each part is a different piece of a complex financial puzzle. I help client’s piece the puzzle together and hone in on what’s important to them about money and how they can use it to meet their goals.
In my spare time, I volunteer with environmental and women’s rights groups, native garden and enjoy Crossfit workouts with my family.
