Planning Specialties
With well over a decade of financial planning experience, Trent founded Templer Wealth Management on his belief that he can directly and personally help families become good stewards of their resources in order to enjoy the freedom and fulfillment that comes with financial security. The most rewarding part of his work is seeing the confidence and peace of mind that comes when clients feel their story has been heard, their dreams shared, assets and vulnerabilities understood, nuances considered, and a course is charted together. Trent grasps how money can bring families together or tear them apart. He is passionate about supporting his clients in ways that allow them to use financial stability as a tool to enhance relationships while making positive impacts on their communities and future generations.
After graduating from the Naval Academy with a degree in Economics, Trent served as a Naval Submarine Officer. In this capacity, he came to understand how the complexity of finances impacted individuals, careers, marriages, families and future generations. As a mentor to sailors, he discovered an affinity for coaching financial discipline and long-term vision over short-term gratification. While stationed at the Pentagon working in the Navy’s Global War on Terror policy office, he completed the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning at Georgetown University and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
