Planning Specialties
We are different from the rest. We offer full service financial planning and investment management services to clients. Our firm’s extensive background in taxation provides portfolio management on a tax efficient basis, minimizing the negative impact of taxes on account values. One of our firm’s greatest competitive advantages is our ability to provide separate account management. We work individually with clients to provide financial management services designed uniquely for their individual needs as part of a comprehensive financial plan. We do not “buy and hold,” rather we take a tactical approach and make recommendations based on current trends and business cycles. Regarding the account management process for individuals: We gather a great deal of financial information from clients, including goals, objectives and risk tolerance. After careful review and analysis, we make investment recommendations to clients and we thoroughly explain and help clients understand the potential risks and rewards of each recommendation. Clients approve or disapprove recommendations and then we implement those they approve. We provide continuous communication with clients and report to them on a monthly basis, showing comparative performance of investments. Certified Financial Strategies is a “Fee Only” financial planning firm. As such, we act as a fiduciary for our clients at all times. Nothing we recommend is commission driven.
Additional Information
Graduated from Austin College (Sherman, TX) in 2000 with a degree in business. I currently live in East Dallas and enjoy spending time with my wife Brennan, who is a teacher in Richardson ISD, daughter Vivienne and son Nash. Outside work, I spent a considerable amount of time volunteering, specifically with the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands. As time permits, I enjoy playing golf as well as skiing in the winter months. The occasional hour or so a day to sit on the couch and watch sports is a bonus as well.
