Mr. Hutchins holds a Masters Degree in Personal Financial Planning and, in concert with a team of NAPFA-registered Advisors,provides comprehensive financial planning services to clients on an hourly or project basis. Mr. Huthins also manages broadly diversified portfolios of institutional quality investment funds. Additionally, he educates and assists individuals, trustees, retirement plan sponsors, and investment committee members for foundations and endowments in becoming excellent fiduciaries and extraordinary investors.

Jay holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designations, a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, and he has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. Jay began his career in 1983 as a financial planner, and spent ten years as a Trust Specialist and Investment Representative for the investment firm A.G. Edwards & Sons before founding The Wealth Conservatory in 1995 as a fee-only financial planning and investment management concern with no affiliations to banking, brokerage, insurance, or other sales-oriented organizations. Jay takes pride in having helped so many people for so many years as one of few early pioneers in the fee-only field.
