Greg has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York, with honors in his academic area. He then went on to earn some of the most recognized credentials in the industry and is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter®, a Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living™.
Greg has been a frequent speaker and author on financial planning and investment management issues. He has presented over 200 professional seminars and has been featured in numerous media publications, such as PBS documentaries, News12 segments, MSNBC’s "Your Money", The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Wealth Manager, Financial Planning Magazine, Consumer Reports, The Star-Ledger, and has been a regular guest on 101.5 Radio.
In addition to his dedication as a wealth manager, Greg is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Camp Nejeda and the Board of Peace Ministries, Inc. He also is member of the Board of Directors of the Modera Charitable Foundation.
Additional Information
With over 20 years of industry experience, Greg began his career in New York City, working at Prudential Securities, Wall Street Advisors, and Smith Barney, where at the latter he developed the firm’s wealth management practice for the Northeast Division. He has been a principal and wealth manager at Modera since 2003, and also serves as one of the founding managing members of Modera Alternative Investments, LP, a private limited partnership for accredited Modera clients to invest in alternative investments.
As a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, Greg is an active leader in the industry. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council, and is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University for Tax and Retirement Planning.
