Jean has been providing fee-only financial planning services since 2002. She has degrees from Tufts and Northeastern in mathematics, geology, and computer engineering, and she received her financial planning education from Boston University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a registered advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and a member of Fee-Only Network. Jean is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Because of her expertise, Jean has been invited to train other financial planners in the creation of comprehensive financial plans at NAPFA regional and national conferences. Jean has been quoted in a variety of publications, including Consumer Reports, Forbes, Kiplinger, and the Wall Street Journal.
Jean is active in a local group that advocates renewable energy and helps homeowners install their own solar energy system. She also gardens (including peaches and kiwis), and searches for gemstones at local New England mines.
