He also holds the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ professional designation as awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh.

Matthew is a member of the Boulder County Estate Planners Council, the National Associate of Personal Financial Advisers (NAPFA), Coal Creek Rotary Club, and served as the Head Coach of the Boulder High School Lacrosse Program for 11 seasons. He is currently the head coach of the Fairview High School Lacrosse Program.
