Additional Information

Liz graduated in 2008 from Loyola College in Maryland with a BA in Speech-Laugnage Pathology/Audiology. She found her passion for supporting families through their financial journeys during her first six years of employment, where she was a live-in caregiver and community outreach and development specialist at a loving group home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

She saw there was an unmet need for educating families about how to save when a loved ones receives Federal and State Support.  As she began learning more, her passion blossomed and she completed the Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies Certificate of Personal Financial Planning in 2016 and has now become a full-fledged CFP®.

Liz has a passion for diversity and inclusion and believes strongly that communities are stronger when we are all encouraged to contribute our fullest selves. She believes goals-based financial planning can generate a focal point for individuals to commit themselves to their personal values, which can in time lead to stronger communities.

She works with Bay Point clients to answer their “what if” questions and solve their complicated financial planning needs. As she progresses in her career, she feels her compassion for people is best suited for working with families who have ongoing caregiving commitments, have experienced hardship, and families with philanthropic interests.

She is an active member of her faith community, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, and is a Soprano in the UUCA Choir. She plays the cello and is regularly on the beaches and wooded walks of the Mayo Peninsula with her 3-year-old son and husband. Liz is an aspiring gardener, hoping to grow flowers for the pollinators and veggies for the table. Her family has 4 pet chickens who they don’t eat. She says, “Except the eggs. We eat the eggs.”
