Robert Sinsheimer is a Wealth Manager at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. Robert is responsible for developing new Modera relationships with executives, business owners and licensed professionals. As a wealth manager he then works with the Modera team to develop the financial plan and implement the wealth management strategy and investment portfolio design for high-net worth individuals.
Previously, Robert was a senior tax partner at a Big 4 accounting firm based out of offices in Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA. Over the years he provided tax and business advice to a broad group of business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate executives associated with private and public companies. Upon retirement from public accounting, Robert pursued a long time goal of obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and joined a Washington, DC area financial planning firm working as a senior wealth adviser before returning to Atlanta, GA.
Additional Information
Robert earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indiana University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Robert is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Financial Planning Association (FPA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA).
Throughout his career, Robert has spent considerable time and energy with charitable and nonprofit endeavors including leadership and board roles at Temple Sinai, the Davis Academy in Atlanta and the Washington, D.C. Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League.
Outside of Modera, Robert lives in Atlanta with Cathy, his wife of over 40 years. While not working, Robert enjoys reading, golf, travel and spending time with his family and dogs. (CAM 3049)
