Planning Specialties
Aaron C. Wieand, CPA/PFS, CFP®, joined Integrated Financial Planning Solutions as a partner in 2014. He maintains the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designations as well as a CFP® certification. Aaron brings a wealth of experience to his role as a fee-only financial planner with over 15 years of working knowledge in the financial services industry. This extensive work experience has provided him with unique insights and a keen understanding of investments, insurance, retirement planning, estate planning matters and the importance of integrating all components of a financial plan. Aaron's passion lies in developing a clear and comprehensive financial strategy for his clients.
Additional Information
Aaron has a passion for helping clients develop and execute a comprehensive, tax-efficient financial strategy. Building a comprehensive strategy hinges on three key areas:
- What are your aspirations in life? In other words, what are your lifestyle goals now and in the future?
- What resources do you have available to support your aspirations?
- What are the risks you face that could derail your financial plan (loss of income, premature death, disability, etc.)?
Armed with this information, Aaron can help you develop an integrated strategy with regards to your investments, insurance, estate plan, retirement strategy and tax plan. Throughout the planning process, Aaron places an emphasis on tax-efficiency. As a CPA and CFP®, Aaron understands that careful tax planning in both working and retirement years can significantly impact the after-tax value of your investment accounts.
In a world where financial planning has historically been (mis)defined by product sales and asset-based advisory fees, the role of a true and comprehensive financial strategy has often been overlooked.
It is for this reason Integrated Financial Planning Solutions has chosen to price services on an hourly or flat fee basis. The firm’s compensation model helps ensure that clients are paying for objective advice given in the context of their broader financial strategy rather than paying for advice that is dependent on a broker’s ability to sell a product or an advisor’s ability to charge fees from investment assets.
Aaron invites you to call to learn more about Integrated Financial Planning Solutions and how they might assist you in the development of a comprehensive, tax-efficient financial strategy integrating your values, priorities and life goals into your financial plan.
