At Landmark Wealth Management, LLC, the other two Principals and Financial Advisors of the firm, Brian Cohen and Joseph Favorito CFP®, are involved and get to know the clients as well. While you do have a primary contact as your Financial Planner, we believe that by having an integrated team approach, our clients have the best of both worlds: extensive access to a Principal of the firm and Financial Advisor, while also having a personalized relationship. As SEC Registered Investment Advisors we are held to the Fiduciary Standard.
We take a holistic approach to financial planning. Our advice is never focused on the sale of a product or security. Rather we take into account the complete financial picture of each individual client while assessing their personal goals and financial circumstances. Once we have properly addressed an appropriate measurement of risk, we construct investment portfolios using a Strategic Asset Allocation. Investment solutions are prescribed based on the most cost effective and appropriate solutions available within the marketplace. We utilize investment selection with a focus and emphasis on wealth accumulation, preservation, and wealth transfer.

Chris has tremendous experience in providing financial planning and counseling to high net worth investors. He has worked exclusively in the high net worth space (1MM +) since 2000. He has advised thousands of investors through one:one meetings or seminar delivery across all types of industries. The clients range from CFO's, CEO's, Small Business Owners, Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Executives, Engineers, Teachers, to name just a few.
Chris graduated from St. John's University in 1990 with a BS from the School of Business. He completed his Certificate Program in Financial Planning at C.W. Post, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He has held Series 7, 63, 65, 9, 10 licenses, and is NYS Health and Insurance licensed and a Notary Public.
Chris began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1991. He has been in the Investment industry since 1995 when he joined Merrill Lynch. Chris spent over 10 years at Charles Schwab & Company, with over five of those years as Branch Manager for various offices on Long Island. Chris spent 8 years at Fidelity Investments advising high net worth investors. He has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Money Magazine, Smart Money Magazine, Fortune, Forbes, and others.
Chris is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Long Island Chapter, and also a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
