Ed designs and implements comprehensive financial planning solutions for individuals and families, focusing on the unique needs of business owners, dental practice owners, medical professionals, and executives. Ed specializes in estate and multi-generational planning, as well as helping dentists retire from their practice and consulting with business owners and physician-owned medical professionals on the design and implementation of qualified retirement plans. With a tax-focused approach, Ed also helps clients manage concentrated stock positions as a result of restricted stock grants and corporate stock options.
Ed is also a member of the Investment Committee at HIGHLAND and plays an integral role in the firm’s portfolio construction, modeling, and trading strategies including the development of HIGHLAND’s Sustainable Impact Portfolio focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance screens. In addition, Ed works with HIGHLAND’s Ultra High Net Worth Clients on building investment allocations in Private Investments..
Ed has been quoted on CNBC on various financial planning topics and has given seminars on various financial planning strategies to professional organizations.
Ed holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and has completed his MBA studies at Montclair State University. Ed completed his undergraduate studies in Finance and Economics at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Outside of the office Ed, his wife and three daughters live in Waldwick, NJ and are active in their community. Ed is a past Treasurer, Vice Chair, and member of the Board of Director's Executive Committee for Alzheimer’s New Jersey. In his free time Ed enjoys following his beloved NY Jets, boating, working out, and enjoying time with family in Long Beach Island, NJ.
