Additional Information
An investment career begun early
Bill Carlson got an unusually early start on his career in finance. While his fellow third-grades spent their allowance on candy, 8-year-old Bill bought stock and a career was born.
His talents for counseling and working with people first manifested themselves in his work as an airport administrator. He soon realized that his natural aptitude for finance and counseling pointed to a career in investment management. He immediately pursued certification as a financial planner, and has never looked back.
Bill’s degree in psychology, his California Real Estate Broker license, and his Certified Financial Planner® certification have given him a broad background of skills that guide clients through the complicated (and emotionally fraught) world of finance and planning for future security.
Creating peace of mind
Bill’s strengths include taking quality-of-life questions that range from “Can we give our kids a good education?” to “Will I have to sell my home?”, and creating a real-world plan to build security. He’s able to ask perceptive questions, get a quick grasp of a complex situation, and come up with concrete recommendations. His compassionate working style, coupled with focused, and conscientious attention to client goals are great assets.
In off hours, he spends a lot of time with his family. He enjoys photography, travel, and skiing.
