Planning Specialties
Rall Capital Management is an independent, fee-only financial planning and investment management firm located on Florida's Space Coast. We help our clients address all areas of their financial lives, making sure that their investments, retirement plans, insurance coverages, tax and estate plans are all working in concert with each other, maximizing the possibility that they can achieve all they want in their lives.
We develop a custom financial plan for each client, helping them to identify, and quantify, their short-term and long-term financial goals. We know that a plan is based on many assumptions that will change over time, so we meet regularly to review and update the plan for the changes that life will inevitably bring.
When it comes to portfolio management, we know that we can't control or predict the market, so we don't try. Instead, we focus on controlling what we can control. We can control the risk in the portfolio by the asset allocation we use. We can control the costs in the portfolio by using broadly-diversified, extremely low-cost investment vehicles. And to a certain extent, based upon the individual situation, we can control the tax consequences of a portfolio.
We pride ourselves on the relationships we have built, and maintained, over the years with our clients. We work with a select group of clients and will only work for those who we can make a major impact.
Additional Information
Bob and his wife, Gina, are both active members of the local fitness community. Together, they have traveled to many parts of the country to run marathons. Before being slowed by a knee injury he sustained a few years ago, they had each completed more than 20 full marathons, a number of half-marathons, and they still participate in many of the local races of various distances. Their latest fitness passion is working out with an early morning CrossFit group. Bob has served on the Board of Space Coast Runners, a local non-profit group promoting fitness through running and walking, for several years. He has served as President, Treasurer, and as Editor of the Club’s newsletter when it was awarded “Outstanding E-Newsletter – 2014” by the national running group, Road Runners Club of America. He was awarded the “Silver Shoe” award by Space Coast Runners in 2013 for his service and commitment to the Club.
Bob, Gina, and Bob’s adult children, Adam and Jenna, are deeply involved with Brevard County’s Special Olympics program. They all serve as certified, volunteer coaches for the track and field team. Bob and Adam have also played on the Brevard County Special Olympics Unified Softball Team, which integrates special athletes and “partners” competing together. The team won the Gold Medal at the 2014 and 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, representing Team Florida. The relationships that the family have developed with our special citizens have become a very powerful part of their lives.
Bob graduated cum laude from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Away from the office, he enjoys CrossFit, historical novels, and playing the piano.
