As a shareholder and owner of Deerfield since 1995, Susie has been instrumental in developing the firm into one of the leading fee-only financial advisory firms in the Midwest. In addition to working directly with clients, Susie provides leadership and strategic direction to the firm as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.
Throughout her career she has dedicated herself to helping her clients achieve a satisfying balance between their personal and financial lives. Susie has been instrumental in serving clients directly as well as positioning the firm to increase the number of clients it can efficiently and effectively serve. Her strict attention to detail and organizational effectiveness enhance Deerfield’s commitment to maximize the value of its advisory services and strengthen its relationships with clients.
Since 1993, Susie has been an active member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and has served on its various committees including the Regional Board of Directors. In addition, she is a past Board Member of the Financial Center Credit Union and has been active in various leadership positions that support local Christian ministries. Susie currently invests her time through active membership in the Central Indiana Community Foundation’s Professional Advisors leadership Council, the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Planned Giving Council.

Outside the professional realm, Susie has contributed to her community through numerous efforts including her involvement in the Financial Center First Credit Union (FCFCU), the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Planned Giving Council, the Kiwanis Club of Northwest Indianapolis, and Junior Achievement. She mentors women through the CFP® Board’s “WIN-to-WIN” program, embodies the spirit of Rotary Club of Carmel, advocates for Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN), and actively serves on the board of the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center (MRNC).
Susie and her husband, Kevin, reside in Carmel, Indiana, where they raised their three children. Outside the office, her focus centers around family, spirituality, and fostering meaningful connections. Embracing the concept of the body as a temple, her personal growth is nurtured through practices like strength training, yoga, and meditation. In her leisure time, she enjoys strolls with her dog, Lulu, and indulges in movies, podcasts, books, and the theater.
