Allison has a particular interest in working with clients in or on the cusp of retirement. She has extensive experience working with the retirement and employee benefits packages of local universities and companies in Research Triangle Park.
Additional Information
Allison utilizes her 10+ years of experience with Financial Symmetry working with clients to provide custom financial strategies to help them achieve their goals. She believes in building strong relationships and providing guidance through the many changes life brings.
In addition to working with clients, Allison is also passionate about financial education and empowering women in finance. To further financial education she has volunteered with NAPFA’s “Your Money Bus” campaign, hosted webinars for employer sponsored plans to encourage savings, and spoken to local college students about the benefits of investing early and often. She is also a frequent contributor to the NAPFA and Kiplinger “Maximize Your Money” events and is a WIN (Women’s Initiative) Advocate for the CFP® Board, working to attract more women to the financial planning profession and CFP® certification.
She and her husband Jason have two sons, Ryan and Sebastian. Her other interests include health and fitness, traveling, and soccer. A lifelong soccer player, Allison is a “Soccer Mom” in every sense of the word, continuing to play in Triangle adult leagues and shuttling her kids to “Mini Kickers” classes on Saturday mornings.
