Prior to joining S.F. Ehrlich Associates, John worked for one of the largest independent financial planning firms in the country. During his time there, John provided highly customized service to 75+ clients with over $100 million of assets. He worked on the firm's investment committee for his entire tenure, helping to set the investment direction for the firm's clients. John has presented at over 60 venues across the tri-state area to more than 2,500 people on how Social Security retirement benefits can play a crucial role in one's retirement plan.
John is a graduate of Cornell University. After completing his degree at the School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in finance, John worked in New York City as a financial analyst for a national real estate development company. In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, John also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which requires three years of study and annual examinations.
Additional Information
John brings with him 10 years of experience in helping people plan for and navigate through the golden years of retirement. He advises clients on how best to invest their financial assets, minimize their risks through the use of globally diversified portfolios and insurance, and minimize their tax bills through effective estate planning and tax deferral strategies.
He lives in Madison, NJ with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children, Ben and Abby.
