Planning Specialties
I’m a financial planner and former Silicon Valley professional on a mission to transform the way we think about money and work. I specialize in working with women and LGBTQ professionals in their 30s, 40s and 50s.
You may have a great job, but you don’t want to stay in the daily grind forever. My goal is to help you create the financial freedom to live and work on your terms. Many of my clients have some complexity with their money - such as equity compensation, self-employment income, or a pension - and they want to make the most of it.
As a Certified Financial Planner, fee-only advisor and fiducary, my role is to help you create and execute on a customized financial plan for your ideal life while managing for variables such as health care and children, tax, high cost of living, inflation, and future unknowns.
I serve clients in the Oakland San Francisco Bay Area and beyond through our virtual practice.
Additional Information
I come from a 15-year career in tech, most recently as a director at a Fortune 500 company. My spouse and I had good jobs, but the hustle was wearing us out and we wanted more – more time, flexibility and purpose-driven work. Financial planning afforded us the freedom to make the leap from salaried security, take our family around the world, and pursue dream ventures.
I’m a big believer in sabbaticals as a way to rest and reimagine your life. During our first sabbatical, my spouse and I traveled to 15 countries while making a film documentary. During our second, we launched a charity bike ride for LGBT equality in Asia.
After experiencing this, it’s now my mission to help others make their greatest dreams a financial reality. I always tell my kids Charlie (age 7) and Jesse (age 5) that money can be a fuel for your best life. I want to help others see it as a possibility rather than a constraint.
