Waller Financial Coaching
I ran my first financial projection at the ripe age of 11. I was trying to show my father the financial benefits of quitting smoking. While I was unsuccessful in my attempt, I look back on that as the first step on a long journey. I started working in the mutual fund management industry in 1998. I enjoyed helping people improve their lives through their finances, but I wanted to have a more direct and personal impact. In 1999, I started training at the University of California, Davis in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional training program. This career path allowed me to directly help people achieve their personal goals. After being recruited by a nationally known financial planning firm in early 2000, I was promoted to training manager. I obtained my Certified Financial Planner designation in the spring of 2003. After spending several years in a fee-based structure, I became a fee-only planner in 2009. I started my own firm in late 2014 for more independence and flexibility so I could better serve my clients. I enjoy working with active people who see their money as a means to do more with their lives. Whether you are involved in sports, like to travel, want to contribute your time to charitable organizations or are an involved grandparent, I want to help make those things financially possible. I like to work with people who value a trusting relationship with a knowledgeable advisor. I currently live in Northern California with my wife, and two wonderful children. |
