Raised in a small Texas town, Rob Schulz swiftly navigated life's challenges, marrying, earning an accounting degree, and becoming a naval officer, all while losing his father to a sudden heart attack in 1990. This pivotal year ignited Schulz’s passion for financial planning. After the Navy, his career evolved from commission-based financial services to confounding First Texas Financial Services, where he obtained the CFP® certification. Specializing in comprehensive solutions for businesses and owners, Schulz wore multiple hats. In 2014, he prioritized his true calling, founding Schulz Wealth as a fee-only RIA firm. Schulz shared insights through writing and published his book in 2020 and has been recognized with several awards., ’He has taught CFP® certification classes at TCU and UT Arlington. He and his wife Shelly are active community contributors, have resided in Mansfield since 1994, and have raised four children. Beyond financial planning, ’Schulz is an enthusiastic sportsman, golfer, traveler, and woodworker.
