NAPFA Fall 2022 National Conference Speaker

Dr. Matt J. Goren, CFP® is the Director of Knowledge for Practice in the CFP Board's Center for Financial Planning. He oversees initiatives that facilitate an increase in the number and diversity of financial planning faculty as well as initiatives to disseminate research on best practices to practitioners. Formerly the Director of Curriculum at GFP Institute and the Director of the CFP Certification Education Program at The American College of Financial Services, he has created and taught courses on topics ranging from investments to cultural psychology and statistics.

Goren has appeared in numerous media outlets, including NPR, Kiplinger, USA Today, and Kitces.com. Goren lives in Chicago, IL and is a regular world traveler and news junky.
