Addie McHale, CFP® has been financial planning since approximately 10 years old (after her parent's divorce, she covertly checked her mom's bank statements to make sure there was enough to pay the mortgage!) As an adult planner, she worked on thousands of financial plans for people of all walks of life at a Fortune 50 company. Her biggest lesson learned from analyzing all those cash flow statements: it’s not how much you make, but what you make of it. While honing her skills with several small planning firms in Colorado, she learned another big lesson: there is often an emotional underbelly to money matters that can sabotage the best intentions.
