Philip Walker
Phil Walker is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the Retirement Strategies Division of Finance of America Reverse. Phil worked many years as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, and Merrill Lynch.
Walker is the author of, The Boomer Effect which was published by FA Magazine and discusses the last major economic impact the baby boomers will have on the economy. More recently, he is the lead author of the research paper “To Reduce the Risk of Retirement Portfolio Exhaustion, Include Home Equity as a Non-Correlated Asset in the Portfolio” which published last December in the Journal of Financial Planning. A breakthrough study that describes how a little-known withdrawal strategy can reduce risk by 10 times for mass affluent retirees.
Walker is a recognized researcher by ResearchGate and has been a speaker at FA Magazine’s annual Retirement Symposium and national conferences for the Financial Planning Association.
