Martha Ferrari
Martha Ferrari is the owner of Partners for Planning, LLC and is dedicated to delivering professional, fee-only advice while acting as an advocate for clients. Her passion is helping people make the transition from full time work to retirement, which may include a second act or encore career—the path for those who want to remain engaged, mentally, physically and socially and not solely for financial reasons. Martha’s clients benefit from her 30 years of experience including tax minimization strategies that are critical as clients shift from portfolio accumulation to the distribution phase. She also has experience working with trust and estate fiduciaries and beneficiaries to address distribution and tax issues unique to these pass-thru entities.
Martha is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and holds an MBA from Pace University. Her extensive financial background includes experience as Vice President at a fee-only investment advisory firm, owner of a tax and financial planning practice and manager at a Princeton, NJ area CPA firm serving high net worth individuals, families and trustees. She began her career as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, one of the predecessors to Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
