Eleanor Blayney
Recognized in 2017 as a “Woman to WATCH” by Investment News, Eleanor Blayney CFP® is nationally known as a pioneer in shaping the practice and ethical standards of the financial planning profession. Ms. Blayney is the only woman partner in a four-partner firm and has served as the Consumer Advocate for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards as well as supported the Board’s Initiative to bring more women professionals into the financial planning profession.
Her 2010 book, “Women’s Worth” Finding Your Financial Confidence” addresses the money concerns of working women and their families. Having recently retired from full-time practice, Eleanor and her colleague, Marjorie Fox, CFP® have teamed up to write a second book, “Women Wise,” targeted to women in their 60s and beyond. Their advice is based on their own experiences as single women in their sunset years, as they have had to deal with some of the most important decisions of their lives.
