Laura Mattia
Dr. Laura H. Mattia is a Partner and Sarasota Office Managing Director at Stonegate Wealth Management LLC. A former corporate financial executive, Dr. Mattia is dedicated to training the next generation of ethical financial planners. She founded a new CFP Registered program at University of South Florida and currently is on the PFP Faculty at Texas Tech University. Her work includes inspiring women to succeed in the profession which is captured in her book, Gender On Wall Street: Uncovering Opportunities For Women In Financial Services, published by Palgrave Macmillan in June 2018. Dr. Mattia is also the Director of the Women’s Money Empowerment program at the Women’s Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) in southern Florida. The purpose of the program is to empower women so they can participate in the financial decisions that impact their lives, their work, their community and the world and involves education, advising and research initiatives.
