Alan Spector
Since retiring from the Procter & Gamble Company as a Director of Worldwide Quality Assurance in 2002, Alan Spector has authored seven books, including two, Your Retirement Quest (coauthored with Keith Lawrence) and After the Cheering Stops, that guide readers to plan for the crucial non-financial aspects of retirement. For the past decade, Spector has worked with financial firms across the country to help their clients, both pre- and post-retirees, plan for retirement—“Beyond the Financials.”
He is a strategic planning consultant for local nonprofits and large cancer organizations across the country, and he continues to play baseball with “kids his own age” in local leagues and in tournaments around the country. Spector is also a nonprofit board member, community volunteer, gym rat, avid crossword puzzle solver, and most importantly, the active and proud grandfather of four. He lives in St. Louis with his wife, Ann, with whom he travels extensively.
