2019 Spring Conference Speaker

Melissa Donovan is an attorney with The Wiewel Law Firm in Austin, Texas, where she focuses her estate planning practice on special needs and elder law. Originally from Massachusetts, Melissa earned her law degree from The New England School of Law where she was an editor on the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Melissa is a member of the Texas Bar College, the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Austin Bar Association, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. Melissa is a frequent speaker on Medicaid, Special Needs Planning, and Estate Planning at conferences and continuing education for Realtors, CPAs, and Financial Advisors.

An animal lover and Broadway enthusiast, Melissa enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and three dogs, taking in any musical she can, and cheering on her favorite team – the New England Patriots.
