Ben Birken is a financial advisor at Woodward Financial Advisors in Chapel Hill, NC, a comprehensive financial planning firm that serves professional women and their families. Ben served on the NAPFA South Region Board, including terms as President and Chair, in addition to serving on and chairing NAPFA National Conference Committees.
Ben and Roger’s hallway conversations at NAPFA conferences evolved into a study group, which then spilled over into the ZebraSmash podcast, the first podcast to offer CFP® CE Credit. Our goal was to create a “conference in your pocket” to help all advisors become better at what we do for our clients, with topics ranging from understanding investing in bonds, to the checklists we use when reviewing client tax returns, to how to develop better PowerPoint presentations and communication skills.
