David Levin
As president of Buckingham Strategic Wealth, David Levin focuses his time and energy on helping Buckingham advisory teams obtain the resources and support they need to deliver a dynamic and consistently outstanding client experience.
David’s passion for the Buckingham client experience is rooted in his own journey from do-it-yourself investor to Buckingham client back in 2010. As a former business owner and primary breadwinner for a family of four, he understands the confidence, assurance and restful nights that can come with having a comprehensive plan and set of solutions specially tuned to each client’s unique needs and objectives.
Underlying David’s dedication to creating an unparalleled client experience is his commitment to developing and executing business initiatives that support Buckingham’s fundamental directive to always do the right thing for clients, using the science of investing to help them focus on their goals and take control of their financial futures. David also serves as chief operating officer of Buckingham Strategic Wealth BAM Advisor Services, overseeing the implementation of the firm’s strategic plan.
Formerly the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, David began his career at Buckingham helping activate and advance the firm’s central mission of educating, informing and inspiring investors and organizations throughout the country. David is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and Operating Committee.
Prior to joining Buckingham, David spent more than 20 years building a career exclusively devoted to client service as a management consultant, executive creative director and marketing strategist. As founder of 11 Communications Group, David built an expansive client list of global brands and organizations, including MasterCard, CME Group, Ernst & Young, Nintendo, Microsoft, Harris Private Bank, General Electric, Western Union, Volkswagen, Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T and McDonald’s.
David’s work has earned coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company magazine, and he’s appeared on National Public Radio, CNBC and MTV.
David holds degrees in industrial engineering and technical communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
