Martha Ferrari
Martha Ferrari is the owner of Partners for Planning, LLC and is dedicated to delivering professional, fee-only advice while acting as an advocate for clients. Her passion is helping people make the transition from full time work to retirement, which may include part time work, a second act or encore career—the path for those who want to remain engaged, mentally, physically and socially and not solely for financial reasons. Martha’s clients benefit from her 25-plus years of experience including tax compliance and minimization strategies that are useful as clients shift from portfolio accumulation to a distribution phase. She also has experience working with trust and estate fiduciaries, and beneficiaries to address distribution and tax planning issues unique to these pass-thru entities.
Martha is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and holds an MBA from Pace University. Her extensive financial background includes experience at a Princeton, NJ investment advisory firm, managing her own tax and financial planning practice and as a manager at a CPA firm serving high net worth individuals, families and trustees. She began her career as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, one of the predecessors to Pricewaterhouse Coopers
