Lisa Brown
Lisa is a Shareholder and Wealth Advisor at Brightworth, where she works with a select number of high net worth families in the areas of investment management, executive compensation, retirement transition and estate planning. Lisa is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, an Accredited Estate Planner, and has completed the Investment Management Consultants Association's Investment Analyst Program at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, earning the designation of Certified Investment Management AnalystSM. Lisa received her Masters in Business Administration with a personal financial planning concentration from Georgia State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics.
In 2015 she received national recognition in Financial Advisor Magazine as a “Top Young Advisor to Watch”. Lisa’s articles and quotes on executive compensation topics have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, and CNBC.com. In addition she writes a monthly column on wealth management topics for Kiplinger.com. Lisa frequently lectures on a variety of wealth management topics to Fortune 500 executives, attorneys and other financial industry groups across the country. Lisa and her husband, Jason, enjoy spending time with their three children (8 year old boy/girl twins and 5 year old girl). A native of upstate New York, Lisa enjoys running and competing in half and full marathons.
