Jen Dawson
Jen Dawson, CFP® is a Wealth Manager with over a decade of experience helping women have a great relationship with their money. She advises high net worth clients on all aspects of their finances, with a strong emphasis on educating and empowering clients to feel confident that their investments, tax strategies, insurance, and estate planning are aligned with their long-term goals. Jen offers a unique blend of strong technical skills and an ability to ask great questions and listen for what is most important and meaningful for them.
At her prior firm - an RIA in Chicagoland with $3B AUM - Jen led the Women’s Service Team, focused on helping women going through divorce, becoming a widow, or managing their careers. She has authored blog series for the Female Breadwinner, about Social Security strategies for women, and about the importance of financial planning for couples. Jen’s strong track record of business development has led her to present to numerous women’s groups about best practices and the power of revenue generation in a woman’s career.
Jen’s passion for helping women be the best versions of themselves extends beyond her clients and colleagues to the greater community. She is the current Board President for Girls on the Run Chicago, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The organization is the perfect match for Jen, a former college athlete, current marathoner and yogi, and strong advocate of girl power.
Jen is a member of the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago, Women on Course, the Financial Planning Association, and a 3-time winner of the 5-Star Wealth Manager award. She graduated from University of South Carolina Summa Cum Laude in 2005 and earned her Certified Financial PlanningTM designation through Northwestern University in 2008.
