Liam Hurley
Liam joined Summit Financial Strategies in 2000 and serves as Summit’s Chief Investment Officer. His wealth management career started in 1989 with The Ayco Company, L.P. in Pittsburgh. He came to Columbus in 1996 as part of Ernst & Young LLP’s Personal Financial Counseling division.
He obtained his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Financial Planning from Grove City College and a graduate degree in Taxation from Robert Morris University. Liam is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts Association®, a CAIA Charter Holder, an Enrolled Agent, a Certified Investment Management Analyst? and a member of IMCA®.
Liam is a specialist in income and estate tax planning, portfolio sustainability related to investment management decisions and specialized issues facing corporate executives. Liam serves as a professional council member for The Columbus Foundation and The Catholic Foundation.
Liam and his family live in Lewis Center. He enjoys reading, weight lifting, learning about art and listening to classical and funk music.
