John Black
John Black joined Nasdaq’s Options Business Development team in 2016 as a Product Development Specialist focusing on enhancing current offerings and bringing new options products to market.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, John spent much of his career serving many facets of the Inter Dealer Broker industry. In 2005, he began his career on Tradition’s US Single Stock Equity Derivatives desk. During John’s time at Tradition, he was involved in delta hedged trade reconciliation, execution trading, and serving as a desk liaison to the compliance, technology and billing teams. John brought his acquired skill set to BGC Partners, where he was an integral member of the team that started a new listed Equity Derivatives Desk, that later merged with a group from Mint Partners. During his time at Tradition and BGC, John was instrumental in implementing operational standards and streamlining execution processes.
John holds a BA in Finance from Fairfield University.
