2016 Fall Conference Speaker
James Schmidt
Jim Schmidt began his career with EF Hutton and Company in their NYC training program in 1984 and has been further educated in every bull and bear market since then. He was a conventional “broker” up until 2002 when he began merging his newly acquired skill of point and figure methodology with the use of option contracts.
In 2005 he began to assemble a team for the purpose of asset and wealth management and he has never looked back. He keeps his ear close to the rail of the financial markets and a clear steady lens on the trusting relationships he enjoys with his clients and team as the founder and portfolio manager for Schmidt Wealth Management Group of Raymond James in Richmond, VA.
Jim’s involvement with the OIC began in 2013 and he has been a dependable panel member at major North American exchanges, national industry conventions, Capitol Hill and the SEC. He welcomes the opportunity to provide best practice advice and encouragement to any financial professional looking to improve their craft at asset and wealth management.
