Bethany Griffith
Bethany Griffith is a financial advisor with Abacus Planning Group in Columbia, South Carolina. Bethany is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BS in Economics and Finance. Bethany joined the Abacus team in 2007 and earned her CFP(R) designation in 2012.
As a member of the financial planning team, Bethany works closely with clients to understand their goals in order to develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive financial plan to achieve those goals. Much of Bethany’s work focuses on family owned businesses. Bethany also has her Certificate in Family Business Advising with the Family Firm Institute.
Bethany is the current chair of the NAPFA Genesis Community, has been a volunteer advisor for Kiplinger’s Jump Start Your Retirement Plan Days, managed the NAPFA Genesis Mentor Match program and served as the Genesis Project Coordinator and the South Region’s scholarship committee.
