Bob Oros
Bob Oros is executive vice president and head of the registered investment advisor (RIA) segment for Fidelity Clearing & Custody, a unit of Fidelity Institutional. His team provides a comprehensive custody platform, brokerage services, trading capabilities and practice management and consulting services to registered investment advisors, including strategic acquirers and professional
asset managers, as well as retirement recordkeepers. Fidelity Investments is a diversified financial services firm that makes financial expertise broadly accessible to people investing their life savings, businesses managing their employee benefits and advisors investing their clients’ money. approach, innovative technology and investment solutions.
Mr. Oros joined Fidelity in January 2012 in his current role, where he is responsible for managing the execution and driving results of the sales and relationship management of nearly 3,000 RIA firms across eight territories throughout the U.S.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Oros was executive vice president and national sales manager for Trust Company of America from 2010 to 2011. In his role, he was responsible for sales strategy and relationship management. Prior to this, he held various roles with LPL Financial from 2008 to 2010, including executive vice president and general manager for LPL Custom Clearing Services; president of LPL Insurance Associates, Inc.; and executive vice president of acquisitions. From 1998 to 2007, he held various positions with Charles Schwab, including vice president and senior divisional sales manager, regional vice president, and vice president of Product Strategy.
Mr. Oros has a bachelor of science in business administration, with a concentration in finance and economics, from Central Michigan University, and has completed graduate work in finance at Walsh College. He holds NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 brokerage licenses.
