In times of stress, uncertainty, volatility, and loss, such as we have and are experiencing, it is imperative to learn the underpinnings of your clients' emotional experience. Then, gain practical communication skills so clients feel supported through it. In this session, learn various tested coping strategies that you can use for yourself and recommend to clients and come out with a dose of hope and inspiration for an even better future.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn the six types of loss or change that trigger emotional reactions, so you can name them for your clients and let them know you "get" them
  2. Gain several skills for communicating during difficult times so you can put them into practice
  3. Implement several tested strategies for coping with stress, uncertainty, change, and loss that you can use in your office and to help clients cope with it all
