Client Psychology for Couples: Applying Attachment Theory to Financial Planning
Working with couples in the financial planning process is incredibly common. Have you ever wondered why, at a deeper level, couples interact the way they do? With client psychology for couples, you can increase engagement in the financial planning process and build more trust and safety. This session will introduce the psychology of attachment theory and its applications for the financial planning process with couples. It’s okay if you have never heard of attachment theory;it is the scientific study of how our early caregiving experiences shape our relationship expectations of safety and trust in adulthood. With an initial understanding of attachment theory, participants will have the opportunity to practice an eye contact exercise to foster safety and trust in the financial planning practice.
