CFP Ethics CE: CFP Board's Revised Code and Standards
The CFP® CEs for this course will be reported to CFP® by CFP® Ethics CE Sponsor (and instructor) David Mannaioni. NAPFA is NOT a CFP® Ethics CE Sponsor.
This CFP Board-approved continuing education course fulfills the 2-hour ethics requirement and has been designed to educate CFP® professionals regarding the new Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct effective October 1, 2019. The revised Code and Standards content emphasizes the significant changes from previous Standards and how these changes affect CFP® professionals. Additionally, the course reviews CFP Board's fiduciary duty, the application of the Practice Standards when providing financial planning, the recognition of circumstances in which specific information must be provided to a client, and material conflicts of interest.
