Every year, the Ensemble Practice surveys the top firms in the industry to uncover the standards of performance in financial management and compensation. Having performed this study for over 15 years allows us to look at the trends that shape the industry. We find that growth is slowing down and the distance between the top firms and all others is growing. Mergers are reshaping the competitive landscape and the client expectations grow.
