Practice Foundation: Technology

This course is designed for new planners, and those considering financial planning as a career. It is also a good refresher for planners with existing practices, but we confine the discussion to the introduction of resources, as we do not have time to get into “best of the best” discussions about specific software and technology resources.


The intention is to give new planners a framework for making their first decisions about technology (computers, scanners, printers, and so on), software (planning, accounting, portfolio management, CRMs and so on), and Internet resources (the planner’s own Web site and other online tools).
